home Poem List next poem Accelerated Evolution...The Epic Fast track development from germ to beast Flies into the heart of Ether and rhymes As might fit humour's phantasy released Thus below reason trails phantasy's crimes Having proferred caution's reality Suppose madness entered the minds of few Whose paranoid drives plus their specialty Led to freakish rates at which bad traits grew Upon their gatherings arrived one dark day Cash flow wandering within their strudels Pieces and parts with design sought to play Genetic doodles with cats and poodles Out of their effort a sequence arrived Beginning with the tiniest of germs Which once inhaled, where they nourished and thrived Quickly evolved to wiggly little worms These then burrowed straight towards the brain Growing eyes and hands as they crawled thru Learning to think while they induced great pain They bored to places where nightmares grew Curling up they absorbed evil from thought Whence they devoured one's human host's essence Having eaten all but the skin kept taught Mimicked people asleep in your presence (c)ERA 09:42 PM 2/13/03
