home Poem List next poem Korean Nuclear Threat Pre-emptive choice cannot be exclusive Korean will would assert before war Are we now informed of wills elusive Who be the threat lurking beyond our door Does Korea seek to prevent our harm Have we been assisted in our death walk Is this friendly guile of Korean charm Pointing to clocks ticking before we stalk What venture might they be alluding to Networks of attitudes which we can't trust Actors endanger though numbers are few Perhaps these number like grains of gold dust Those who would betray our own existence Wending ways into organization Have asian friends fostered our persistence Warning of others beyond sensation Has some bureaucrat or unionist tried Say conjoled Korean interfaces For money, offered what has not been pried Destablizing history's traces Of course we could be racial paranoids Biting the hand that fed us these insight s Suspecting they meant their own humanoids Not proferred help surviving other fights (c)ERA 07:43 AM 2/7/03
